NEW LABLEASE PRICE SHEET & ORDERING INFORMATION
Effective December 1, 2002, there will be a $10.00 per roll
price increase on all ESA Lablease
rolls. This is our first increase in a number of years and
is caused by the increase in shipping costs.
LabLease products are shipped UPS prepaid and this shipping cost
item has been creeping up on us without our realizing it.
We are sorry about having to do this but we can't put it off any
longer.
LabLease has been a unique product in our line for many years.
This is our program to offer selected sizes of release paper in
convenient pre-packaged cartons, in stock and ready to ship
within a day of receiving your order. All LabLease
products are in 40# cartons, which make them very easy to ship
via UPS and very easy to handle in your shop or lab.
MASTERCARD & VISA
This is a reminder that we do accept MasterCard and Visa
for payments. This works especially well when buying Lablease
or One-Eyed Horses materials as those
are relatively small invoices and often shipped via UPS, so that
all of your internal handling of such purchases is simplified.
And, you get to keep the airline miles that your credit card
likes to shower you with.
CIRCLES CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FROM STOCK
As this issue goes to press, we do have several sizes of
Silicone Coated Separator Circles on our floor. All of
these are silicone coated 2 sides and have 3 1/8
center holes

A SPECIAL OFFERING OF SHEETS
This is a 95# polycoated 2-sides, release coated 1-side
material. At 7 mil, these are thicker than most release
sheets and will resist curl. Please note: these have
silicone release coating on one side only, but are polycoated on
both sides. They can be on their way to you in a few days.
ONE-EYED HORSES
Our One-Eyed Horses feature is a
listing of trim rolls and butt rolls available for prompt
shipment. Continuing our recent practice, we are no longer
listing these items in the newsletter. Instead you can
find the list on our website.
But we do want you to sneak a peak at a few of the items that we
would like to move in a hurry. These three items are all

RELEASE PAPER AS ART
We have also added a new section to the
website. “Release
Paper as Art” will be a gallery of photos for your viewing
pleasure. ESA’s
resident photographer, Elliott Schultz, took the three photos
currently on display.
We encourage your photo submissions.
Please understand that Mr Schultz has set the artistic
standard at a very high level, but we are confident that some
submissions will be considered suitable for posting.
PRINTING
Our newly acquired ability to offer printing is resulting in a
number of inquiries. Please remember that we can print
your logo or message on the uncoated side of C1S release paper,
as long as we can do it in one color. This is certainly a
good way of differentiating your product or providing
instructions to the ultimate user.
ESA can provide the popular imprint, "REMOVE TO EXPOSE
ADHESIVE", on release paper rolls slit to your preferred width.
Our printing is flexographic and one color only. Standard
red, blue, green or black are available. The pattern
repeats with alternate lines inverted. Using this imprint
would save you plate charges.
EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
The Selection Committee has met again and determined the winner
of the coveted Employee of the Month Award. Because some
people have been unhappy that Elliott Schultz has won this Award
for 196 consecutive months and felt that the deck was stacked
against Marty, it was decided to permit him to have some input
into the selection process.
In an act of great magnanimity, the Selection Committee has
broken tradition and elected to give Marty one vote.
Remember that in the voting process, each prior winner of the
Employee of the Month Award gets one vote for each month that he
or she has won it. The voting for this month went as
follows:
|
Marty Schultz - 1vote
Elliott Schultz - 196 votes |
The Committee will have to decide later if
the courtesy of extending voting privileges to Marty will be
continued in future elections. PUBLIC SERVICE
ANNOUNCEMENT We thank you for the kind words
several of you sent following our noting in our last newsletter
that you could drop off exhausted, recyclable batteries at Radio
Shack for proper disposal. A few of you took the time to
tell us that you acted on that information and we are please
that you did. |
